4J is a Rapper & Singer born and raised in Los Angeles with both of her parents hailing from Mexico City. 4J has been writing for around 3 years. In 2020 4J released her debut single "Shine" and followed that with the dancehall inspired tune "Bourbon" in the summer of the same year. She's stated that her goal is to always step outside the box. "I’ve come to find that my best work has came from trying new things," 4J said. "Experimenting is what teaches you what is and isn’t for you and I have definitely learned a lot about that along the way. "
